Horses

This past Sunday I was fortunate enough to be able to get up close to 5 horses. My friend actually lives next door to these beauties. Two of the horses were retired race horses and the other three were rescued Mustangs from out West. One of the Mustangs was grayish in color with stripes on his legs like those of a zebra. He had a black stripe down his back, long hair that covered his eyes, and 3 of his fetlocks were brown and one was white. Another horse was pure white with blue eyes. While I was looking at one of the race horses, it felt almost surreal. His chocolate brown coat was so shiny and he was extremely large. I was having trouble understanding that this huge being was a living and breathing creature. He seemed like a statue. It was a magnificent feeling being in his presence. I totally want to go back. Also, while we were standing around I noticed the barn swallows. It's amazing how they fly around and then just zoom down into the barn. God gives us so many beautiful wonders to enjoy. I certainly did on Sunday.
